ETHICAL REQUIREMENT AND REVIEW PROCESS

Ethical Requirements for Authors

Authors are typically informed that they must adhere to the following ethical standards:

  1. Originality and Plagiarism: Submit only original work, properly cite all sources, avoid plagiarism, duplicate publication, or recycling previously published content. Plagiarism is reusing someone else’s published processes, results, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is not accepted, however, the authors can use AI tools for paraphrasing and correcting grammatical mistakes only. The plagiarism and AI reports from Turnitin and iThenticate only, will be considered.
  2. Authorship Ethics: List only those who made significant contributions to the research, ensure all listed authors have approved the final manuscript, avoid ghost authorship, gift authorship, or undisclosed contributors.
  3. Data Integrity and Transparency: Present accurate data without fabrication, falsification, or manipulation, maintain research data and be prepared to share it if requested, follow relevant guidelines for research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data.
  4. Conflict of Interest: Disclose any financial, institutional, or personal conflicts that could influence the research.
  5. Ethical Approval: Provide proof of ethics committee approval when the study involves human subjects, animals, or sensitive experiments.
  6. Responsible Conduct: Avoid simultaneous submission to multiple journals/conferences.

 Peer Review Process

The following steps will be applied in the review process:

  1. Initial Screening: Editorial team checks formatting, scope, originality (plagiarism check), and basic quality.
  2. Assignment to Reviewers: Suitable expert reviewers (usually 3) will be assigned based on subject area.
  3. Single-Blind Review
  • When authors submit a manuscript, their names and affiliations remain visible to the reviewers.
  • Reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process.
  • Authors receive comments and decisions without knowing who reviewed their paper.
  1. Reviewer Feedback: Reviewers submit detailed comments, suggestions for improvement, and recommendation (Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject)
  2. Author Revision Phase: Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments.
  3. Final Decision
  • Program Chair makes the final decision after reviewing revisions.
  1. Camera-Ready Submission (for Conferences)
  • Accepted papers undergo final formatting, proofreading, and copyright submission.

BEST PAPER AWARD

The conference chair and session chairs will declare the best paper awards for each session in the valedictory session of the conference.
