The 4th International Conference on Management, Engineering, Science, Social Science and Humanities (iCon-MESSSH’19) July 26-27 2019, Phuket, Thailand

In the sequence of international conferences started from 2016, the Society for Research Development (SRD) organized its 4th International Conference on Management, Engineering, Science, Social Science and Humanities (iCon-MESSSH’19) in Phuket, Thailand dated July 26th– 27th 2019. The aim of the conference was to provide opportunities to academicians and professionals from a range of disciplines from different countries around the globe to share their research both through the conference podium and publication. The conference being inter and multi-disciplinary encourages regional and international communication and motivate young scholars to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience in the field of Management, Engineering, Science, Social Science and Humanities.

Day-I began with the welcome address of Prof. Rajendra Kumar, an eminent author, researcher and Vice President of SRD. The two-day conference was divided in four sessions chaired by the eminent professor of the disciplines. The Key note address was delivered by eminent Prof. R. C. Singh, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. The topic of his keynote address was “STEM Research in 21st Century”.

The first Session was Co- chaired by Dr. Rohit Khokher, an eminent researcher and speaker. Invited talk was delivered by Dr. Sunantha Prime Teyerachakul from California State University (USA) on topic “Manufacturing Learning and Forgetting: Steady State Optimal Batch Size for Constant Demand Case”, followed by presentations of research papers by different researchers of Science and Technology disciplines.

The Second Session was Co-Chaired by Dr. Portia R. Marasigan of Laguna State Polytechnic University, Philippines. Invited talk was delivered by Dr. Prantosh Kumar Paul from Raiganj University, West Bengal (India) on topic “Green Computing for the Sustainability – The Issues, Challenges and Potentialities” followed by presentations of research papers by different researchers of Science, Technology and Management disciplines.

On second day, the third and fourth sessions were co-chaired by Dr. Venus C. Ibarra and Dr. J. C. Patni respectively. The invited talks were delivered by Dr. Gunjan Jain on topic “Trends and Innovation in Teaching and Learning English Language” and Dr. Manu Pratap Singh on topic “Multi Objective Optimization with Soft Computing Techniques”. After oral presentations, the online presentations were delivered by absentia participants.

The papers presented in the conference were evaluated on the parameters of content, Time Management, Connectivity with society and Presentation. The evaluation was solely on the discretion of the session chair to decide the Best Paper of the session. Total 03 best papers were awarded to Dr. Amila Jayasinghe, Eline Joy C. Apat and Adoree A. Ramos.

The papers presented have been sent for online publication in IJITEE (Scopus Journal) and Zibeline International Publishing. Selected papers will be published soon.
